How in the World did Black people not know that the Democrats enslaved them. It was the Party of the South. Lincoln was the first Republican President. Most Black folks voluntarily enslaved themselves again to the Federal Government and Democrats. This is common knowledge in the South! But them States and Cities run by Dems don't teach actual history because they were on the wrong side. Why do you think they tore down statues of Confederates everywhere they could? They were trying to wipe their history.

Before her clinic's abortions were almost unheard of. The only part of the narrative I have a problem with is that they no longer teach real history. If they did you would find out that the intent of the US Constitution was to be a nation free from slavery but 5 signers of it were free black men that refused to sign it because they owned plantations and slave's and they caused a divide and delay in crafting our constitution until the wording and bill of rights was washed down enough that they were agreeable and until a certain passage of time not to free slaves. Oh, and another point of interest is that the reasons for succession was socio economics since the plantations and industrial growth was controlled by the northerners they controlled it all. Less than 1% of southerners owned slaves usually in the interest of preservation of the blacks.

What she said was accurate but missing one fact about slavery. It didn't end in 1865 like we are taught. Slavery was just renamed convict leasing and didn't end until 1940s. It was in Democrat run southern states. The parties never switched. Imo slavery still exists in US. When the income of your labor is taken and given to other that is also slavery.
